Introducing in all its 90s technologically advanced glory - Project Derelicté, our well used 1997 e38 BMW 7 series.
Wonder at amazement at all the features that were available in 1997 - In dash TV (doesn't work because there is no more analogue signal to receive), 6 disc CD stacker and tape deck (does work, just can't eject anything, so long as you like Fleetwood Mac, you won't have an issue), Sat Nav (does work, just so far out of date, its kind of pointless), car phone (like the TV, no more analogue signal) power everything, front AND rear parking sensors, HID headlights, motorised rear privacy screen, ACTUAL leather on the seats; and being a iL, enough room in the back to hold a small gathering of 5 and up to 10 people in reasonable comfort.
The e38, while now long in the tooth, is arguably pinnacle BMW. Timeless design, great road manners, and enough opulence to appease the biggest mob boss or foreign dignitary.
These days, the e38 is unique, classic, timeless, and dramatic. Its the perfect way to arrive and leave an event with style and a sprinkling of 90s gangster rapper.
When modified just right, it has a clean, luxurious vibe with a hard street edge that not too many cars are able to genuinely pull off.
And this is why it's the perfect vehicle to showcase goHARDson and what we are all about.
